Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 24,800 pounds of fish and 100 pounds of scallops Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Large pollock: 4,400 pounds ($2.51)

Medium pollock: 4,200 pounds ($1.72)

Medium and small pollock: 2,600 pounds ($1.47)

Large monkfish (head on): 2,200 pounds ($1.20)

:Large monktail: 1,900 pounds ($2.29)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 52,500 pounds of fish and 30,800 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 38,900 pounds of fish Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
