Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 44,600 pounds of fish and 300 pounds of scallops Monday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Snapper haddock: 15,600 pounds (63 cents)

Large hake: 4,900 pounds ($1.32)

Market cod: 2,600 pounds ($2.21)

Large pollock: 2,500 pounds ($1.13)

Large monkfish, head on: 1,800 pounds ($1.69)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 50,900 pounds of fish and 22,800 pounds of scallops Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 35,800 pounds of fish and 900 pounds of scallops Sunday.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
