Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 32,300 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Snapper haddock: 13,800 pounds ($1.08)

Medium pollock: 3,400 pounds (92 cents)

Scrod haddock: 2,400 pounds ($2.35)

Large monkfish, head on: 2,400 pounds ($1.74)

Small greysole: 2,000 pounds ($2.05)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 85,100 pounds of fish Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 20,100 pounds of fish and 400 pounds of scallops Thursday.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
