Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 38,000 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 15,800 pounds ($1.o5)

Medium and small pollock: 8,000 pounds (81 cents)

Large monktail: 2,200 pounds ($2.80)

Medium hake: 1,800 pounds ($2.27)

Ocean perch: 1,800 pounds (63 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 33,900 pounds of fish and scallops Wednesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 11,500 pounds of fish Wednesday.

No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
