Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 9,000 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Large monktail: 2,400 pounds ($4)

Small yellowtail: 1,600 pounds ($1.66)

Large yellowtail: 900 pounds ($2.07)

Small monktail: 700 pounds ($2.99)

Sea scallops: 500 pounds ($11.50)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 39,200 pounds of fish and scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 5,700 pounds of fish Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
