Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 25,600 pounds of fish Tuesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 11,200 pounds (91 cents)

Large pollock: 2,500 pounds ($2.27)

Large hake: 1,800 pounds ($1.49)

Large monktail: 1,500 pounds ($2.55)

Medium and small pollock: 1,300 pounds (71 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 157,700 pounds of fish and scallops Monday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 8,600 pounds of fish Monday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
