Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 24,100 pounds of fish Thursday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Ocean perch: 5,400 pounds (46 cents)

Scrod haddock: 2,200 pounds ($1.10)

Large hake: 2,200 pounds ($2.23)

Medium pollock: 2,100 pounds ($1.90)

Large monkfish (head on): 2,100 pounds ($1.20)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 47,900 pounds of fish and 22,000 pounds of scallops Wednesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 9,800 pounds of fish Wednesday.

No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
