Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 12,100 pounds of fish Monday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Market cod: 3,000 pounds ($3.04)

Large pollock: 1,800 pounds ($1.26)

Large hake: 1,800 pounds ($1.73)

Scaler cod: 1,000 pounds ($2.53)

Large cod: 800 pounds ($3.81)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 20,800 pounds of fish and 82,800 pounds of scallops Friday.

No report was available from the Portland, Maine, Display Auction for Sunday’s landings.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
