The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 51,800 pounds of fish Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Market cod: 8,300 pounds ($1.98)

Skate wings: 7,900 pounds (97 cents)

Large blackbacks: 3,900 pounds ($2.74)

Medium pollock: 4,800 pounds (98 cents)

Small yellowtail: 3,300 pounds ($1.53)

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 44,800 pounds of fish Sunday.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
