The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 45,700 pounds of fish Friday.
Top species landed and average prices were:
:Ocean perch: 16,800 pounds (51 cents)
Medium pollock: 15,400 pounds (69 cents)
Scrod haddock: 3,900 pounds ($1.92)
:Medium and small pollock: 3,500 pounds (65 cents)
:Large pollock: 1,900 pounds (94 cents)
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 65,800 pounds of fish and scallops Wednesday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 13,800 pounds of fish Wednesday.
No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
