Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 39,000 pounds of fish Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 10,500 pounds (99 cents)

Ocean perch: 8,000 pounds (52 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 3,100 pounds (80 cents)

Large hake: 2,800 pounds ($3.12.

:Small dabs: 2,500 pounds ($2.52)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 51,800 pounds of fish and scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 16,500 pounds of fish Thursday.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
