Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 33,400 pounds of fish Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Ocean perch: 8,400 pounds (54 cents)

Medium pollock: 6,500 pounds ($1.45)

Large hake: 2,900 pounds ($2.32)

Medium and small pollock: 2,700 pounds ($1.28)

Mackerel: 2,100 pounds (97 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 99,800 pounds of fish and scallops Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 8,700 pounds of fish Sunday.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
