Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 5,800 pounds of fish Tuesday and 17,700 pounds Wednesday.

Top species landed Wednesday and average prices were:

Medium and small pollock: 7,600 pounds ($1.46)

Large hake: 1,400 pounds ($1.88)

Small dabs: 1,400 pounds (82 cents)

Large pollock: 1,100 pounds ($2.16)

Large monktail: 800 pounds ($3.92)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 119,700 pounds of fish and 136,600 pounds of scallops Monday and 46,900 pounds of fish and 44,200 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 11,900 pounds of fish Monday but reported no landings Tuesday.

No landings were reported Monday or Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
