Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 35,900 pounds of fish Friday, and 62,800 pounds Monday.

Top species landed Monday and average prices were:

Scrod haddock: 14,500 pounds ($1.85)

Haddock: 7,900 pounds ($2.05)

Market cod: 6,300 pounds ($2.90)

Small yellowtail: 5,600 pounds (87 cents)

Large yellowtail: 4,900 pounds ($1.16)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 100,200 pounds of fish and 49,500 pounds of scallops Thursday, and 8,300 pounds of fish and 19,300 pounds of scallops Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction reported no landings Thursday, but handled 32,700 pounds of fish Sunday.

No landings were reported Friday or Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
