Fish landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 4,100 pounds of fish Monday.

Top species landed and average price were:

Market cod: 1,600 pounds ($2.87)

Small yellowtail: 1,200 pounds (94 cents)

Scaler cod: 400 pounds ($2.66)

Blackback, Nos. 1 and 2: 300 pounds ($1.28)

Scrod cod: 200 pounds ($2.36)

The exchange also handled 16,200 pounds of fresh scrod haddock and 1,000 pounds of fresh large haddock monday that was trucked in from Canada.

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston's Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester's Whaling City Auction, handled 110,400 pounds of fish Friday.

The Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford handled 5,800 pounds of scallops landings Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 38,800 pounds of fish Sunday.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
