The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 19,900 pounds of fish Tuesday.
Top species landed and average prices were:
:Large hake: 2,300 pounds ($1.60)
Medium pollock: 2,300 pounds ($1.02)
Small dabs: 2,300 pounds (80 cents)
Medium hake: 1,500 pounds ($1.09)
King whiting: 1,000 pounds ($1.54)
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 115,900 pounds of fish and scallops Monday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 33,300 pounds of fish Monday.
No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
