Fish landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 27,500 pounds of fish Wednesday and 40,900 pounds of fish Thursday.

Top species landed Thursday and average prices were: Ocean perch: 15,200 pounds (43 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 7,200 pounds (66 cents)

Scrod haddock: 2,700 pounds ($1.63)

Small greysole: 2,400 pounds ($1.34)

Large hake: 2,100 pounds ($1.92)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 74,000 pounds of fish and 43,400 pounds of scallops Wednesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 36,300 pounds of fish Wednesday.

No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
