Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 29,400 pounds of fish and 200 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Scrod haddock: 5,500 pounds ($2.26)

Medium pollock: 4,500 pounds (95 cents)

Snapper haddock: 3,000 pounds ($1.10)

Large monktail: 2,500 pounds ($4.06)

Large monkfish, head on: 1,900 pounds ($1.55)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 53,300 pounds of fish and 130,600 pounds of scallops Monday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 21,600 pounds of fish Monday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
