Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 29,400 pounds of fish and 200 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Scrod haddock: 5,500 pounds ($2.26)

Medium pollock: 4,500 pounds (95 cents)

Snapper haddock: 3,000 pounds ($1.10)

Large monktail: 2,500 pounds ($4.06)

Large monkfish, head on: 1,900 pounds ($1.55)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 25,300 pounds of fish and 39,900 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 20,700 pounds of fish and 200 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
