Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 39,100 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Ocean perch: 11,300 pounds (46 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 7,700 pounds (61 cents)

Market cod: 5,300 pounds ($2.75)

Large pollock: 2,600 pounds ($1.33)

Medium pollock: 2,100 pounds (87 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 32,900 pounds of fish and 70,800 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 10,500 pounds of fish Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
