The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 31,900 pounds of fish Friday.
Top species landed and average prices were:
Medium and small pollock: 15,800 pounds (88 cents)
Small dabs: 3,900 pounds ($1.28)
Large hake: 1,900 pounds ($1.38)
Large pollock: 1,500 pounds ($1.75)
Medium dabs: 1,400 pounds ($1.77)
Other landings
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 58,200 pounds of fish and 87,200 pounds of scallops Wednesday and 40,500 pounds of fish and 47,400 pounds of scallops Thursday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 3,700 pounds of fish Thursday.
No landings were reported Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
