Letter: Duff deserves Governor's Council vote

To the editor:

I am writing to urge people to vote for Eileen Duff for Governor’s Council.

Eileen is running for the Governor’s Council to insure a level playing field for all judicial applicants, and to ensure fair trials for ordinary citizens.

Not only has she served in Washington, but she has private sector experience as an entrepreneur and business leader. With a background in consensus building and public policy, she has a combination of skills I feel is much needed to help ensure balance.

With family in law enforcement, she fully understands the dangers officers face in our district, and she has the knowledge and experience needed to make sure they are fully protected.

Eileen is not a lawyer and would come to the Governor’s Council with the ability to be completely impartial. She’ll have nothing personal to gain by backing any particular appointment, yet she’ll be able to put her expertise to work for working citizens.

On Tuesday, please vote for Eileen Duff for Governor’s Council.
