Tony Gross tackles the tough issues

To the editor:

Tony Gross is a hard-working member of our community who brings honesty, integrity and no-nonsense common sense to everything he does. That is why we, my wife Christine and I, are supporting for re-election to the Gloucester School Committee.

I have known Tony as a shipmate and fellow Captain for over two decades, as well as in various roles in service in Gloucester. We need more leaders like Mr. Gross, with common sense and considerable hands-on experience to make decisions that are in the best interest of both the schools and the city at large.

Tony is not afraid to tackle tough issues, and he can cut through the chaff to get to the bottom of things. We need more of this, so we are voting for Tony on Nov. 5.
