Letter: The visual case against wind turbines

To the editor:

This is about society’s rush into “greenology,” with a specific emphasis on wind-powered turbines.

If you wish to see an argument being made against the indiscriminate location of wind turbines, if you wish to see the negative visual environmental impact that such large turbines create against the vista — and if you wish to witness the impact and intimidating sensation the turbines pose for those driving toward them — you need only to take Route 128 north to Gloucester.

I rest my case.
