Letter: Rockport show spotlights arts education

To the editor:

Recently, Rockport Public Schools had their annual student art show at the Rockport Art Association.

This showcase was well attended by the local community, and is a source of pride for both art students and art teachers, especially with Rockport being an arts community.

After having seen the show, amazed at the talent of our students, I just hope that the school administration values and realizes the importance of arts education in our schools.
