Letter: Anti-abortion letter misses the mark

To the editor:

I am writing in response to Joseph and Barbra Szymanski’s concept of “A presidential double standard” (Letters, the Times, Friday, Sept. 20).

No! It is not at all “interesting” to compare President Assad’s using sarin gas to kill citizens of his country to the work of Planned Parenthood in women’s health clinics in America.

There is no irony, and no hypocrisy by president Obama through supporting women’s health care and calling for action against a ruthless murderer in Syria.

It shows nothing but ignorance to seemingly accuse Planned Parenthood of chemically “killing” millions of children.

Only God, my savior, Jesus Christ has the power to decide who is born and who is not born. President Obama does not have that power.
