Letter: Warren's business fight doesn't add up

To the editor:

I am a Democrat, but I don’t understand Elizabeth Warren’s political agenda.

If elected to the U.S. Senate, she promises to “take on” big business. Does she mean multi-billion-dollar Massachusetts companies such as Raytheon, Liberty Mutual, EMC, Boston Scientific, and Staples? Or the state’s largest employers: Massachusetts General Hospital, Stop & Shop, MIT and, yes, her own employer, Harvard University? These and many other large corporations not only provide thousands of jobs, they support hundreds of small-scale companies who supply them with everything from parts and deliveries to laundry and food services.

Professor Warren’s senseless battle against big business will only serve to hurt the “little guy” she claims to defend in her ads.
