Letter: Cape Ann needs Tierney's influence

To the editor,

In my 86 years, I have never been represented in Congress by one as able and effective as John Tierney. He has done a great job both for the people in our district and for the country as a whole. As his seniority has increased, so has his influence and his ability to accomplish things in Washington. Replacing him with a novice would certainly not be in the interest of the people of Cape Ann.
