Letter: Favazza: A new voice for our School Committee

To the editor:

The greatest reward a teacher can hope for is to see her students become successful and contributing members of our society.

What is even more heartening is to know that they have returned to Gloucester where they can contribute to our city in many ways.

One young person who has opted to return to Gloucester after completing law school and passing the Massachusetts Bar Exam is Joel Favazza. He has interned with a local lawyer and has now established his own practice here.

Joel, since his return, has actively become involved in our city government. He has been vocal on school issues, and he believes that all of Gloucester’s children deserve strong and vital educational opportunities.

I feel he will work toward this goal if he is elected to the School Committee on Nov. 5. He is intelligent, dedicated, and willing.

Please join with me and vote for my former student, Joel Favazza, for School Committee.
