Letter: The president's rhetoric of oxymorons

To the editor:

With all the rhetoric, lately, on the use, and misuse of firearms — especially on the issue of gun control — coming from the White House, our astute president recently issued a presidential pardon to a convicted felon who was serving a sentence for being convicted of “possession of an unregistered, (illegal), firearm.”

Our president seems to continually speak in oxymorons; therefore folks, how can we the people, trust anything he says?

Perhaps we the people, ought to evict him from our house, after his closing the doors of the White House to children’s tours.

It’s not his house, even though we allow him to reside in it.
