Letter: Beeman events a source of pride

To the editor:

I recently attended two presentations at Beeman School that would make any parent very proud.

The first was the third-grade classes giving us a wonderful concert on their recorders, playing about 10 numbers for us and all from memory. It was fantastic; thank you, Mrs. Goldberg and the third-graders.

The second was Mrs. McGovern’s second-grade class, in which each pupil wrote a fable of his or her choosing with colored drawings. It was just wonderful. Thank you, Mrs. McGovern and the second grade.

It was truly wonderful to see how well these children presented themselves and how happy they were by their accomplishments. Thanks, Beeman!
