Letter: Thief cares not about a 'disability'

To the editor:

Recently, in the Gloucester police notes, there was a mention of a stolen disabled parking placard taken from an unlocked car in the Walgreen’s parking lot.

I suspect these stolen placards could be sold for as much as $1,000 in and around Boston and its suburbs.

Always lock your car when you’re displaying a disability placard. Leaving it unlocked is just an invitation for a thief.
