Letter: Voters shouldn't forget rainbow flag

To the editor:

I am praying, daily, that Carolyn Kirk is defeated in the upcoming election.

Rev. Patrick Slyman (“Midweek Musings,” the Times, July 3) was right when he wrote that the mayor mocked God by raising a flag over a community that (I believe) glorifies behavior he condemns.

As Jesus said: “Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; whoever humbles

himself will be exalted.”
