Letter: Tisei campaign far from 'perfect'

To the editor:

A lot of people were shocked that Richard Tisei lost his bid to unseat John Tierney, including me, except I was happy with the outcome only because the it was nasty and personal as opposed to “perfect,” as Tisei suggested (the Times, Monday, Nov. 12). That Richard could not get himself to personally concede, as difficult as it may have been for him to digest, speaks volumes about character!
