Letter: A time for healing, spirit of unity

To the editor:

I’m thrilled for our country, not gloating. It’s time to heal, to unify, to do what’s best for the people who have made their voices heard.

Now it’s up to Congress to get to work together to improve our economy, create good jobs, pass sensible tax reforms, reduce spending, and in the process, our debt in time will become a surplus.

It isn’t difficult to understand, it’s just plain common sense to work together, compromise, put the politics aside for the well-being of the people!
