Letter: Lynch is for our fishermen

To the editor:

I’ve changed my registration from Republican to unenrolled, so on Tuesday, I can vote for Stephen Lynch to be the nominee for U.S. Senate.

I have fought all my life for the interests of our fishermen, because I believe their survival is directly linked to the survival of Gloucester.

Congressman Lynch knows that fishermen are good stewards of the ocean, and willing to take cuts in the amount of fish they can catch, but those decisions have to be based on facts, not politics.

We need someone in the U.S. Senate who will fight for our fishermen, not just the fish.
