Letter: Cinderella characters shine in Rockport

To the editor:

Rockport High School thespians performed “Cinderella” last weekend. It was just wonderful!

The stepsisters and stepmother were outrageously evil and hilarious, and the prince and Cinderella were a convincingly romantic couple, thanks to a cool fairy godmother.

A surprise character was a crotchety old hag with messy hair who insisted on trying to jam her foot into the glass slipper. I was told that was George Ramsden, Rockport High’s retired guidance counselor, making one of his famous cameo appearances.

What fun! Thanks, all of you, for a great show!
