To the editor,
Because states like Texas and Colorado will try to hinder gun control laws, the individual states need to pass their own to ban guns designed for military and law enforcement use being sold to ordinary citizens. The sale of ammunition of any kind needs to be reviewed for control, also.
It is time for the states to wake up and take action to protect their own citizens since Washington drags its feet constantly lately.
