Letter: Where's outrage over auto deaths as well?

To the editor:

The terrible deaths in Connecticut recently brought a strangeness into focus.

These periodic gun disasters inevitably provoke not only an uproar, but many ideas for helping stop them.

Yet thousands and thousands of automobile deaths occur every year, and, it seems, are hardly looked into at all.

What’s the story — if there is a story?
