Letter: Crew makes streets safe for kids

To the editor:

As I walked my grandson up the street to Plum Cove School Tuesday morning, I despaired of ever seeing the streets and sidewalks clear enough for the kids to navigate safely.

Then, what did I see on my return but DPW workers Richard Pino, Bob Cooper, and Mark Eastman with backhoes and dump trucks and seemingly limitless energy cleaning the whole mess up so it would be safe for the kids.

Thanks guys!
