Letter: Uncle Sam's big-box company store

To the editor:

I am writing regarding the letter from Michael O’Connor (the Times, Friday Feb. 15), who suggested that, if we don’t overturn the Supreme Court’s “Citizens United” ruling, we’ll return to the days of owing our lives to “the corporate store.”

Mike, In case you haven’t noticed that $16 trillion debt, we already owe our souls — and our great grandchildren’s souls — to the modern-day company store: “Uncle Sam’s bigbox!!!”
