Pajama story hour, for children ages 3 and older, 6 p.m., TOHP Burnham Library, 30 Martin St. Bedtime stories and a snack.

Wednesday, July 15

Sparky's Puppets, 5:30 p.m., TOHP Burnham Library, 30 Martin St. "Stories from Outer Space" supported by a grant from the Essex Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Saturday, July 18

"Canning and Preserving" lecture and demonstration with Caroline Craig, 10 a.m. to noon, Cogswell's Grant. Learn about traditional preservation methods, look at the equipment used and see some of the produce of Bert and Nina Fletcher Little's farm. $10 for Historic New England members, $15 for nonmembers. Registration required; call 978-768-3632.

Wednesday, July 22

Movie night, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., TOHP Burnham Library, 30 Martin St. Enjoy a family fun space movie, popcorn and treats. Tickets required and may be picked up at the Circulation Desk.
