FRIDAY, Oct. 19

Joe Blanchard, 6 to 9 p.m., The Parlor Restaurant at Emerson Inn By The Sea, Rockport. Joe will play original piano compositions with a classical influence and new age twist.

Linda Amero’s Menage a Trio, 7 to 10 p.m., Downstairs @ Franklin Cafe, 118 Main St., Gloucester. John Baboian on jazz guitar and Bronek Suchanek on upright bass join vocalist Amero for jazz standards.

The Amy Black Band with Megan Burtt opening, 7:30 p.m., Old Sloop Coffeehouse, First Congregational Church of Rockport, 12 School St. Black has performed with Suzy Boggus, Rodney Crowell and Chris Isaak. Advance tickets, $10, at Gloucester Music and Toad Hall Bookstore in Rockport. Tickets, $12, will be available at the door; discounted prices for juniors, seniors, and families.
