Santa’s Sleigh Cocktail: A drink to dash through snow for

A drink to dash through snow for

Finding a good holiday drink recipe that everyone will enjoy is always a difficult task. A cocktail should never be too sweet, and a drink that is too strong has its own host of problems.

To strike a harmonious balance between the two, Bill Jacques of “What’s Your Pleasure” has come up with the Santa’s Sleigh Cocktail. Part dessert, part party, this cocktail is sure to spread a little cheer.

Simple to prepare, the only hardware this drink requires is a blender. Toss the egg nog, brandy, amaretto liqueur, nutmeg and ice cream into the blender and blend until thoroughly combined.

The egg nog and nutmeg bring those warm holiday flavors to the drink, while the brandy and amaretto do the rest.

For the designated driver for the evening, an alcohol-free version of the drink can be prepared by simply excluding the alcohol. Garnished with a cinnamon stick or candy cane, this drink is the perfect toast to the holidays.
