Six great plays for the price of one

The Gloucester Writers Center and M. Lynda Robinson will present “Six Plays for the Price of One” on Sunday, Sept. 22, at 7:30 p.m.

Six writers will debut six original plays at the Cultural Center at Rocky Neck, 6 Wonson St., Gloucester. The playwrights are Robinson, Linda Hanley Finigan, Carole Frohlich, David McCaleb, Jess Semeraro, and Joseph Stiliano.

Suggested donation is $10 but nobody will be turned away.

Following the staged readings, the audience is invited to provide feedback as well as ask questions. There are both comedies and dramas on a variety of subjects ranging from rest homes, and marriage, to the “dark lady” of William Shakespeare’s sonnets.
