Jazz Friday, 7 to 10 p.m., Downstairs @ Franklin Cafe, 118 Main St., Gloucester. Featuring duo Bronek Suchanek on bass and Curt Shumate on guitar.

Gordon Bok with Three Sheets to the Wind, 8 p.m., Old Sloop Coffeehouse, First Congregational Church of Rockport, 12 School St. With his resonating voice and guitar picking, Gordon Bok has been the leading purveyor of the music of the sea for nearly a half century; Gloucester group opens. Debbie & Friends, 10:30 a.m., Old Sloop Coffeehouse, First Congregational Church of Rockport, 12 School St. Grammy Award-winning group, including former West Parish School teacher Debbie Cavalier on vocals and keyboards, Gloucester’s Rory McKenzie on bass, performs family concert. Tickets, $8, will be available at the door and in advance at oldsloopcoffeehouse.org, Gloucester Music, and Toad Hall Bookstore in Rockport.

Joe Blanchard, 6 to 9 p.m., The Parlor Restaurant at Emerson Inn By The Sea, Rockport. Joe will play original piano compositions with a classical influence and new age twist.
