THURSDAY, Sept. 9

Amberly Moody, 6 to 9 p.m., The Parlor Restaurant at Emerson Inn By The Sea , Rockport. Amberly will playing the grand piano with classical elegance.

Karen Ristuben and The Mark Earley Jazz Sessions, 6:30 to 9 p.m., Latitude 43°, 25 Rogers St., Gloucester. Vocalist and guitarist Ristuben, guitarist Dan Monaco and bassist Nick Aparo join saxophonist Mark Earley.

Village Night, 7:30 p.m., Alchemy, 3 Duncan St., Gloucester. Showcase of folk and acoustic musicians hosted by Dan King.

Mark Earley Jazz Sessions, Latitude 43, 6:30 to 9 p.m.. Mark Early on sax, Nick Aparo on bass and Dan Monaco on guitar.

Dave Sag's Blues Party, The Rhumb Line, 9 p.m. Best blues jam with special guests every week.

Greg Luttrell, Topside Grill, 8 p.m. Singer and guitarist from Detroit, performing all kinds of feel-good music.

Joe Blanchard, 6 to 9 p.m., The Parlor Restaurant at Emerson Inn By The Sea, Rockport. Joe, who's musical style has a classical influence with a New Age twist, will play original piano compositions.

Groove Therapy, The Rhumb Line, 9 p.m., a favorite local band.

Linda Amero - Jazz Trio, Downstairs at the Franklin Cafe, 7 to 10 p.m. Guest musicians John Funkhouser (piano) and John Turner (bass) scheduled to appear.

Cool Change, Topside Grille, 9 p.m. Music project that consists of a number of great musicians from the North Shore area.

SATURDAY, Sept. 11

Bob Allison, 6 to 9 p.m., The Parlor Restaurant at Emerson Inn By The Sea, Rockport. Bob will play the grand piano, drawing on the core of the "Great American Songbook" including the works of Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and the Gershwins.

The Inge Berg Band, The Rhumb Line, 9 p.m. It's going to be a SHOW.
