Generation Gap, 9 p.m. to midnight, The Pub at Cape Ann Brewery, 11 Rogers St., Gloucester. The band has new songs in its repertoire of covers and originals. The band consists of father-son trio of Craig, Jason and Cory Eliot with Dave Koen and Bob Bradford.

Joe Blanchard, 6 to 9 p.m., The Parlor Restaurant at Emerson Inn By The Sea, Rockport. Joe will play original piano compositions with a classical influence and new age twist.

Tom O'Brien's Irish Band, 6 p.m. to closing, The Rhumb Line, 41 Railroad Ave., Gloucester. Authentic Irish party for his 20-plus year.

Tom O'Carroll, 8 p.m., One World Coffee House, First Universalist Church, 59 Main St., Essex. Dublin-born folklorist, folk-singer and instrumentalist brings stories, humor, wit and history to his performances.
