DJ Vito, 9 p.m. to close, Minglewood Tavern, 25 Rogers St., Gloucester. “Shake it.”

FRIDAY, April 19

Joe Blanchard, 6 to 9 p.m., The Parlor Restaurant at Emerson Inn By The Sea, Rockport. Joe will play original piano compositions with a classical influence and new age twist.

Linda Amero’s Menage a Trio, 7 to 10 p.m, Downstairs @ Franklin Cafe, 118 Main St., Gloucester. Amero on vocals, Jack Senier on piano, and Bronek Suchanek on bass.

Joe Thomas, 8:30 p.m. to close, Giuseppe’s Ristorante and Piano Bar, corner of Main and Washington streets, Gloucester. At piano bar.

Tonekat, 9 p.m. to close, Minglewood Tavern, 25 Rogers St., Gloucester. Featuring Jay Aptt.

The Grand Central, 9 p.m. Dog Bar, 65 Main St., Gloucester. Young band influenced by traditional hard-driving country and olished contemporary sounds coming out of Music City.

High Hopes Reggae, 9 p.m., The Rhumb Line, 41 Railroad Ave., Gloucester. Debut of one of Boston’s best reggae bands.

SATURDAY, April 20

Bob Allison, 6 to 9 p.m., The Parlor Restaurant at Emerson Inn By The Sea, Rockport. Bob will play the grand piano during dinner. His melodic style draws on the core of the “Great American Songbook” including the works of Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and the Gershwins.

Joe Thomas, 8:30 p.m. to close, Giuseppe’s Ristorante and Piano Bar, corner of Main and Washington streets, Gloucester. At piano bar.

Jake Pardee Band, 9 p.m. to close, Minglewood Tavern, 25 Rogers St., Gloucester. Blues and rock.
