THURSDAY, July 26

Marina Evans, 6:30 p.m., Fitz Hugh Lane Park, Harbor Loop, Gloucester. Evans, a singer-songwriter from Rockport, will perform an all-original set with her 4-piece band, composed of Gloucester musicians Jack Tomaiolo (guitar), Dave Borge (bass), and Pete Lindberg (drums). Outdoor, all ages show; bring beach chairs, blankets.

Quill and DJ Radio Scotvoid, 9 p.m., The Madfish Grille, 77 Rocky Neck Ave., Gloucester. Two acts combining soul and modern tastes for an eclectic mix of sound and style.

Bob Allison, 6 to 9 p.m., The Parlor Restaurant at Emerson Inn By The Sea, Rockport. Bob will draws on the core of the Great American Songbook as he plays the grand piano.

Mike O’Connell Band, 9 p.m., Minglewood Tavern, 25 Rogers St. Gloucester.

Generation Gap, 9 p.m. to midnight, Capt. Carlo’s, Harbor Loop, Gloucester. The band will play covers of The Beatles, J. Geils, Steely Dan and The Rolling Stones, John Mayer, Matchbox 20 and Lynyrd Skynyrd as well as originals. The band consists of the father-son trio of Craig, Jason and Cory Eliot with Dave Koen and Bob Bradford.

Jammin Toast, 9 p.m. to midnight, The Rhumb Line, 41 Railroad Ave., Gloucester. Rock, fusion, reggae jam band.

He and a Berkelee- trained jazz musician, who plays both guitar and keyboards, will perform songs from the ‘30s to the ‘80s. Celtic music session, 6 to 9 p.m., The Landing at 7 Central, 7 Central St., Manchester. In the sty

le of an Irish house or pub “seisiun,” Michael O’Leary with Bob and Jennifer Strom host an acoustic session of mostly traditional songs and tunes from the Celtic countries.

Overdrive, 7 p.m., Antonio Gentile Bandstand, Stage Fort Park. Rhythm and blues rock.
